Farhan Akhtar condemns the lynching in Palghar, hopes justice to be delivered swiftly

Farhan Akhtar has never shied away from speaking on social issues and caste-based mob lynching has, unfortunately, become a common practice these days. Only a couple of days ago, three men were mob lynched in Palghar and the entire nation has been standing in solidarity to demand justice for these men.

Farhan Aktar took to his Twitter to address the issue and tweeted, “Strongly condemn the violence that took the lives of 3 people in Palghar. Mob rule should have no place in our society and I hope the murderers have been arrested and that justice is delivered swiftly.” The CM of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray has also assured that the culprits will undergo a severe trial for this heinous crime.

The suspects have been arrested and are expected to put on trial. On the professional front, Farhan Akhtar will next be seen in Toofaan.
