Akshay Kumar says ‘Diwali came early this year’ after seeing digital billboard of Ram temple at New York’s Times Square

Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the bhoomi pujan for the Ram Temple to be built in Ayodhya on August 5, 2020. After the ceremony, news reports stated that a digital billboard of the Ram Temple was being displayed at New York’s Times Square. The photo showcased how the temple would look like after it’s been completed.

Responding to the billboard, Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to express his happiness.  He wrote, “Diwali came early this year. Historical day indeed! Jai Siya Ram.”

On the work front, Akshay Kumar to be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi which may release during Diwali depending on the situation. He will also premiere his next film Laxmmi Bomb on Disney+ Hotstar. The actor is set to fly to Scotland later this month to begin filming of Bellbottom. Another film he is set to resume is Prithviraj.
